Dogra Sadar Sabha J&K proudly commemorated the 78th Independence Day with a grand
celebration at Dogra Hall, located within the historic Dogra Sadar Sabha Complex in Jammu.
The event was marked by a solemn yet spirited hoisting of the tricolor by Th. Gulchain Singh
Charak, esteemed President and Former Minister, accompanied by the resonant voices of
attendees singing the National Anthem.
In his address, Sh. Charak reflected on the monumental sacrifices made by countless patriots
during over two centuries of British colonial rule. He urged the gathering to honor this hard-
earned freedom by fostering a spirit of unity, love, and unwavering nationalism. Sh. Charak also
paid heartfelt tributes to the valiant freedom fighters whose bravery and dedication secured the
nation’s liberty.
Among others who expressed their views on the occassion were Prem Sagar Gupta, Amanat Ali
Shah, Rajinder Gupta, Vidya Sagar Sharma, Pawan Sharma, and others.
