Today on 68th Republic Day a colorful function was organized at Bishnah under the aegis of Dogra Sadar Sabha in which large number of prominent citizens including Sarpanches, Panches, Numberdars and representatives of Border area were present. The Function was presided over by Dr. OP Saini and Sh. Gulchain Singh Charak-Former Minister was the Chief Guest, who hoisted the National Flag and paid rich tributes to the freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the freedom of the country and appealed the people of the Country and the State to work honestly and dedicatedly for the progress of the Country and the Nation.
He also urged upon the Government to take every possible step to curve the anti-national elements who are disturbing the communal harmony in the State.
Prominent among others who spoke on the occasion are Sh. Madan Lal Bhagat, Dr. Raghubir Singh, S. Mehar Singh & Dr. OP Saini.,
