Bishnah unit of Dogra Sadar Sabha J&K celebrated the74th Republic Day at its office headquarter at Bishnah. Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and President DSS unfurled the National Flag and pledged to protect unity and integrity of the whole country in general and of our trouble torn J&K UT in particular. Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Charak extended his warm greetings and felicitations to the people including Numberdar Chowkidar Sarpanchs and Panchs of Tehsil Bishnah and Arnia present and paid rich tributes to the freedom fighters and to all those who laid down their lives for freedom of our motherland. The former minister also recalled the services of all those including the farmers, scientists, engineers, doctors, teachers, artists, youths who were instrumental in preserving the democratic values enshrined in our constitution and also creating a society based on justice, equality and brotherhood.
Sweets were also distributed among the participants in the function. Prominent among others who express their views were: Dr Raghbir Singh Charak Ex sarpanch, Sh Madan lal Bhagat, Sh. Rajesh Saini Naib Sarpanch, Sr Mehar Singh, Capt Gurbachan Singh, Capt Harsh Vardan Sharma, Sub Prem Singh Saini, Dr S.K Dingra, Sh.Khajan Chand, Ch. Chunni, Numberdar Krishan Singh etc.
