Dogra Sadar Sabha J&K (Regd.) organized a felicitation function today on 29th July 2025 in the premises of Humanity Public School Bassi Kalan Bari Brahmana, to recognize the active participation of the school’s students in its annual campaign *“Aao Pakshion Ko Pani Pilayen”* held every year on 5th May. The Executive Representatives of DSS—Sh. Gambhir Dev Singh (Vice President), and Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn (Additional General Secretary), —were present as special invitees along with Sh. Gourav Charak, Principal of Humanity Public School.
While interacting with the students, Sh. Gambhir Dev Singh Charak stress upon the need to realize the importance of mother tongue in our daily life and youth should come forward to protect and preserve dogri as the identity as mother tongue. He also emphasize that nature is the mother and it should be cared, protected so that humanity can get the blessing of Mother Nature.
He also lauded the positive approach of Sh. Gourav Charak, Principal of the institution for supporting DSS activities and providing his best efforts towards campaigns like *Save Birds, Save Water. *
Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn also shared his views with the students and applauded the talented students of the institution for their consistent participation in preserving and promoting regional art and culture. He further said that today we are globally connected, and our youth should work smartly to excel globally and be an ambassador to represent culturally and ethnically to the world
Principal Gourav Charak, in his remarks, appreciated the functioning of Dogra Sadar Sabha for upliftment of youths and society with a mission to protect and preserve Dogra culture and heritage. He assured all best possible coordination for future initiatives of the Sabha.
A memento was presented by DSS executive members to Principal Gourav Charak as a token of appreciation for the students’ participation and the Institution’s continued support.
