In view of the ensuing Navratri festival and “Pavitar Chhari Yatra” to Purmandal in continuation of the already started Swachhata Abhiyan, Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust led by Th. Gulchain Singh Charak-Former Minister & President of the Trust, today on 26th of March, 2017 again launched the cleanness drive at 09:00 AM from Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Gandhi Nagar to clean the temple complex and the surrounding areas of Gandhi Nagar, wherein, besides, members of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Dogra Sadar Sabha and large number of other prominent citizens of the area, Sh. Kavinder Gupta Hon’ble Speaker J&K Assembly along with large number of workers, officers and staff of the municipal corporation Jammu participated.
Launching the Abhiyan Sh. Kavinder Gupta Hon’ble Speaker appealed the public to make their habit of keeping their areas especially the worship and other public places neat and clean.
Th. Gulchain Singh Charak-Former Minister, President of the Trust and the DSS, thanking the participants, especially, Sh. Kavinder Gupta Hon’ble Speaker and other leaders who joined the Abhiyan along with officials and karamcharies of Municipal corporation Jammu who also provided all sorts of help to make the Programme a grand success, appealed to all the public to also join the “Pavitar Chhari Yatra” which will start from Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Gandhi Nagar tomorrow on 27th March, 2017 at 08:30 AM after Proper Puja Archna, in a specially decorated “Rath” to the Historic Pilgrim Centers of Purmandal and Utterbehni and have the blessings of Lord Shiva.
