Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) held an emergent meeting of its core group and members of the All Jammu Civil Society Forum (AJCSF) to discuss the deteriorating situation of Kashmir Valley and the dastardly brutal murderous attack on the Shri Amarnathji pilgrims killing seven of them to include five women religious devotees.
After deliberations with the members Th. Gulchain Singh Charak who heads both the organizations strongly condemned the cowardly act of killing unarmed pilgrims to include women. In strong words he called it a total failure of the Government and an unpardonable blunder lapse of the security forces. How and why an unguarded single bus was allowed to move without protection, after the scheduled convoy timings through a highly sensitive area despite apprehensions of a terror strike? questioned the former minister. Are there any terrorists’ informers infiltrated in the system, asked one AJCSF member?
President DSS called the government to quite as the situation has become unmanageable for the present dispensation and give a free hand to the Army to take over the State under the Governor till they demolish and eliminate the terror regime and establish the rule of law and nationalism.
Col Dr Virendra Sahi said that it was also time for all nationalist forces to synergize and consolidate against the terrorists and their wicked sponsors, sympathizers and OGWs who shelter them, voice for them, seek to indulge with them and try to save them when cordoned. He added that such synergetic approach is possible only by sane thinking, controlled emotions and balanced thinking. “While the civil Society should go all out to maintain calm and communal harmony, the security forces should be allowed to go all out to search and destroy the evil of terrorism, blatantly spreading like cancer in the State. The forces must crush it till rooted out; and keep watch t o ensure that it does not rise again in any other criminal form as it is happening in State sponsored terror groups of Pakistan”.
