Known for encouraging local talents and to keep the Dogra art and culture alive and growing, as decided in the meeting of the core group of Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) J&K held on today 06th of October 2017, the Sabha has announced yet another innovative competition after the “Pagri” competition. Entries are called on from amateur as well as professional artists to create a ‘Logo’ For Dogra Sadar Sabha to be put on display during the forthcoming international seminar and adopted permanently if found suitable. The aim is also to include broad base participation and representation.
The design should depict Dogra region, its chivalrous ethos and cosmopolitan culture. Entries can be made on plane mount paper in watercolours/ oil paint or computer printouts on wallpaper and should reach the Office of the Dogra Sadar Sabha before 05:00 pm on 18 Oct 2017.
