The Dogra Sadar Sabha J&K celebrated the 73rd Independence Day at Dogra Hall in Dogra Sadar Sabha Complex. Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, President and Former Minister hoisted the tricolor amidst singing of National Anthem.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Charak said that the Independence has come after millions of sacrifices from the British colonialism of more than 200 years and called upon the people to preserve it with mutual faith, love and a strong feeling of nationalism. He also paid tributes to all those freedom fighters who fought for the freedom of the country.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Prem Sagar Gupta, Brig M. S. Jamwal, Amanat Ali Shah, Satinder Mahajan and Vidya Sagar Sharma.
