A combined meeting of District Administration Samba, Dogra Sadar Sabha J&K, Shri Lakshami Narayan Mandir Management Trust Gandhi Nagar, Purmandal/Uttarbehni Shrines Development committee, Dhramath Trust J&K and Langar seva samiti Bari-Brahmana was held under the Chairmanship of Sh. C.P Ganga, Hon’ble Minister for Industries and Commerce on 18th of March, 2017. The meeting was attended by Th. Gulchain Singh Charak-Former Minister & President Dogra Sadar Sabha J&K and Mrs Sheetal Nanda DC Samba, besides, officers and members of the different organizations.
At the outset Mrs Sheetal Nanda DC Samba made power point presentation about the project being formulated for the shrines at a cost of Rs 51 Cr. She also told that Sh. T.R Sharma-ACD has been appointed as Nodel Officer for Chhari Mubarak Yatra and the three days fair at Purmandal/Uttarbehni. The meeting deliberated upon Security arrangements on the entire route and at Purmandal/Uttarbehni from 27th March, 2017 to 29th March, 2017 by requisite barricading and arrangements for drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, maintenance of road.
The meeting also discussed transport/Traffic and medical arrangements to include ambulance, medical services at Purmandal and Uttarbehni.)
Fire services, construction of temporary toilets separately for male and females, Sanitation, repair of road from Mandal to Purmandal. Proper parking arrangements at Purmandal, Temporary washrooms and bathing gaats at Devika were also decided upon.
The meeting insisted that Ban already imposed on illegal mining in Devika be implemented in letter and spirit.
It was also decided to put up an exhibition of Local products by different departments , participation in Swachhata Abhiyan to be launched in Devika at Purmandal on 25th of March, 2017 at 9AM and to place drinking water arrangements at Purmandal Morh and erect welcome banners, hoardings by tourism and other departments on the way.
It was also decided to arrange eight buses for devotees accompanying the Chhari Mubarak Yatra from Shri Lakshami Narayan Mandir, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu to Purmandal and back on 27th of March, 2017.
