29 th Chhari Mubarak Yatra to Purmandal Shrines, “three days
Religious congregation starts”.
“29th Holy Chhari Yatra” was taken to Historic Religious shrines of Purmandal on
20 th March 2023 after performing Pooja at Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir, Shri
Raghunath Ji Mandir Jammu by the representatives of Purmandal/Utterbeni
Shrines Development Committee and Dharmarth Trust, J&K at 07.30.A.M.
Thereafter the Holy Chharis were taken to Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir, Gandhi
Nagar, Jammu by Mahatmas and renowned Pujaris led by Mahant Rishiban Ji
and accompanied by Th. GS Charak President, Sh. Ajay Gandotra Adv, Sh.
Ashok Sharma, President & Secretary Dharmarth Trust J&K where Grand Pooja
was ceremonized by Th.Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and President
Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust along with,Shri Ajay Gandotra
and Sh. Ashok Sharma President & Secretary of Dharmarth Trust J&K, Jammu
where in large number of other Devotees and Saints also participated.
After that the Holy Maces were taken to Purmandal in a profusely decorated
Vehicle via Shri Mahadev Mandir Gandhi Nagar, Shiv Mandir Trikukta Nagar,
Shiv Mandir Greater Kailash, Data Ranpat Dev Ji and Shri Narsingh Dev Ji
Mandirs at Birpur. Enroute a befitting reception was given by the large number of
people of all shades. Special reception to the Holy Maces was organized at
Kharah Madana, Mandal etc, where Hindus/ Muslims/ Sikhs and Prominent
Moulvis led by Khatib Hussain, Sh. Raj Kumar Gupta (Raja) and Haji Bashir
Ahmed Malik of the area received the Holy Maces and served heavy
refreshment to the pilgrims accompanying the Chhari Mubarak Yatra.
Th.Gulchain Singh Charak while addressing the people explained the importance
of these Historical Shrines and about the Holy Chhari Yatra which was started 28
years back and also thanked Sh. Ajay Gandotra Adv, Sh. Ashok Sharma
President and Secretary Dharmarth Turst and the representative of all
organizations participating in the event for their full support for making the same
a Grand Success. He also thanked District Administration Samba, specially
Deputy Commissioner Ms Anuradha Gupta and her team for taking keen interest
in the development of these Historical Shrines.He also urged the Govt. and
Dharamarth Trust authorities to make all the further necessary arrangements
including the transport from Purmandal Morh National Highway to
Purmandal/Uttarbehn Shrines, cleanliness in Devika at both the places and
providing other utility services for the lacs of devotees taking part in three days
pilgrimage congregation on 20 th 2ist and 22 nd Marth 2023
Prominent among others who expressed their views on the occasion and
participated in the Yatra include Sh. Ajay Gandotra,Sr. Advocate and President
Dharamarth Trust, Sh. Ashok Sharma Secretary Dharmarth Trust, Mahant
Rishiban Ji, Sh. Raj Kumar(Raja) Sh. S.C. Rekhi, Gen Secretary Shri Lakshmi
Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Manager Purmandal Shrines Mr Dubey,
ADC Samba (Nodal Officer) and other officials of the district administration.
