Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS) held an urgent meeting of its Executive Members at the Sabha Bhawan under the chairmanship of their president Th. Gulchain Singh Charak. The meeting expressed heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of the Mother of DSS Sr. Vice President Col Karan Singh, W/O Late Shri Malook Singh at Village Manoha (Kathar). The grand lady lived over 101 years and breathed her last at 5.50 PM at her ancestral house in the Village. She is survived by three sons, three daughters and nineteen grandchildren, settled well in their lives.
The Members also condoled the sad demise of the mother of Advocate H C Jalmaria, General Secretary, DSS who left for her heavenly abode on 30th Jan 2025 at her ancestral home at Village Katal near Mata Sukrala temple, Billawar.
Rich tributes were paid in praise of both the parted souls, wishing courage to both the bereaved families to bear the irreparable losses. A two minutes silence was observed to offer prayers for both the noble souls to rest in peace in heaven.
