In a condolence meeting held to offer tributes to Former Governor of J&K Lt Gen S K Sinha, at the Dogra Sadar Sabha Bhawan. The members assembled under the Presidentship of Th. Gulchain Singh Charak Former Minister and observed a two minutes silence and offered tributes in honour of the departed soul.
Paying tributes to the departed soul, Former Minister Th. Gulchain Singh Charak recalled the high qualities of head and heart and called General Sinah a veteran who served the nation for over a six decades, he participated in the military operations in J&K to push back the Pakistan sponsored tribal raids in 1947 till he retired as Governor of J&K in the year 2008.
Gentle in nature, a learned personality and a Great admirer of DOGRIAT, Gen. Sinah was known for his simplicity and easy accessibility to one and all. Th. Gulchain Singh Charak prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace and give courage to his family to bear the irreparable loss.
