On 31st of oct. Dogra Sadar Sabha J&K under the guidance of its esteemed President and Former Minister Sh. Gulchain Singh Charak celebrated the vibrant festival of Deepawali with great joy, unity, and enthusiasm at Sabha Bhawan Dogra Hall Jammu. The event was marked by Pooja Archana with traditional rituals, and gatherings that brought together members of the Sabha to celebrate the Festival of Lights in a spirit of togetherness. This year’s celebration focused on both tradition and environmental friendly. Festivities began with the lighting of diyas and a prayer ceremony, promoting peace, prosperity, and harmony among all residents of this Dugger Pardesh. Speaking on the occasion Sh. Charak wished everyone a safe and prosperous Deepawali. He emphasized the significance of Diwali as a time to strengthen bonds, share happiness, and renew community spirit. “Deepawali is a celebration of light over darkness, wisdom over ignorance, and love over hatred. Our community strives to embody these values not only during this festival but through out the year,” said the Former Minister.
Extending warmest Deepawali greetings to all those present on the occasion, he further stated that Deepawali is an occassion for reflection, gratitude and renewal. It brings families and friends together, fostering bonds and creating lasting memories.
The event concluded with lightening of candles and distribution of sweets. Prominent among those present in the celebrations were Col. Karan Singh, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Narinder Singh Jamwal, Balwinder Singh, Ravi Singh, Rajinder Gupta, Naresh Sharma, Vidya Sagar Sharma and Others.
