Shri Shani Shilla Sthapna Divas Celebrated in Lakshmi

Narayan Mandir Gandhi Nagar Jammu

Today, the 10th of August 2023 Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management
Trust led by Sh. Gulchain Singh Charak Former Minister and President of
the Trust oraganised celebration of Shri “Shani Shilla Sthapna Divas” at
Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Complex Gandhi Nagar Jammu where in
Besides Sh Kavinder Gupta former DyCM, Sh. Baldev Singh Baloria Dy
Mayor JMC, Miss Bhanu Mahajan corporator   large number of devotees
and  general public participated. The programme was started with Shri
Ganesh and Navgreh Pujan followed by Hawan/Yagya, Pushap Abhishek
and Shringar of Shri Shani Dev ji  by the learned pandits accompanied by
Mandir Pujaris, member trustees, special invitees and other prominent
devotees. There after performing Puranaahuti, Maha Aarti was organized
on this auspicious occasion. Various religious scholars expressed their
views about the Shani Shilla “a replica of Shani Shingna Pur Mandir in
Maharastra” and prayed for blessings of Lord Shani Dev.
Sh. Ashwani Kumar Shastri briefed the gathering by highlighting the ways
of Shani Pooja. He narrated that the malefic gaze of Lord Shani is said to be
because of grief, dullness, laziness, failure, poverty, delays and other
adversaries, he also explained about the separate arrangements made for
performing the pooja of Shri Shani Dev ji and other Grehas in “Shri
Yantra” and “Nav Greha Mandir” in this complex in proper manner.
Th. Gulchain Singh Charak thanking the religious scholars and devotees
for their participation in the celebrations and making the celebration a
grand success. He, especially, mentioned the name of Sh. Davinder Khawle
for extending his whole hearted support for bringing Shani Shilla from
Shingna Pur and establishing here in the mandir complex and organizing
the whole programme including Vishal Bhandara on the occasion. He also
thanked the function committee, other trustees, special invitees of the
Trust and the function committee headed by Sh. K.B Magotra under the
guidance of S.C Rekhi including Smt Uma Sharma representative of Mahila
wing for the proper arrangements made for this great religious event.  Sh.
Davinder Khawle was also honored on the occasion.

After the whole pooja Archana a “Vishal Bhandara” was organized in which
large number of devotees and other public participated and took Parshad.
