Youth may contribute towards Global Healthy Environment: DSS

Dogra Sadar Sabha in collaboration with Rich Harvest School, Bari Brahmana, Dogra Hr. Sec. School, Shastri Nagar and Dogra Group of Colleges a series of Felicitation functions organised at Dogra Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Rich Harvest school, Bari Brahman, Dogra Law College, Dogra Degree College and Dogra college of Education, Bari Brahmana today on 1st August 2025 for the gratitude towards the active participation of students in the regular activity” Aao Pakshiyo ko paani Pilaye” being organised by Dogra Sadar Sabha on 5th of May  every year.

Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Former Additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages and Additional General Secretary Dogra Sadar Sabha was Chief guest , Sh. Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Vice President Dogra Sadar Sabha presided over the function while Sh. Narinder Singh Jamwal, Finance Secretary , Dogra Sadar Sabha was the Guest of Honour, Mrs. Ruchi Charak, Director and Ms. Anita Bhatia, Principal, Rich Harvest School, Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust, Mrs. Geetika Sehgal , Coordinator, Dogra Group of Colleges, Mrs. Bela Thakur , Director , Dogra Group of Colleges, Dr. Srivastav , Principal, Dogra Law College, Dr. Vikesh Sharma, Principal, Dogra College of Education were also present in the presidium.

While speaking in the function, Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn at the outset congratulated participating students, Principal, Management and faculty members who played an important role for making the event “Save Water Save Birds” ‘Aao Pakshiyo ko Panni Pilaye’, a grand success. He also hoped that students will contribute to make the Society, Region, Country and world a healthy and progressive with the commitment to save Mother-The Nature and all natural resources.

Sh. Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, while delivering his Presidential address motivated the students for developing a habit of taking care of Birds, animals and surroundings alongwith safety of water which is very important for the life of human beings. He further said that the best way to worship the God is to protect the Nature with all best possible efforts as a routine.

He also told that with the blessings and guidance of Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, President, Dogra Sadar Sabha  we the executive representatives are here to honour the students who took part in the function in the form of poetry presentation, poster making and slogan writings.

Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust, Ms., Anita Bhatia also spoke on the occasion. The proceedings were conducted by Mrs. Ashima, Senior  Wing Coordinator in a befitting manner while vote of thanks was presented by Mrs. Ruchi Charak, Director , Rich Harvest School.

A trophy was also presented to Dr Samar Dev Singh Charak, the Dogra Group of Colleges, Secretary by the Dogra Sadar Sabha, Jammu.
